Bowling Green – while children’s activities can be organised here, the park manager is unable to authorise any repairs to fencing etc. there as it is officially closed as a facility as far as the Council is concerned….. meeting news | # | |

pipeline in the park

Thames Water made a presentation at the last meeting about their plans to dig a pipeline across the Park (diagonal from Green Lanes/Church Street junction to QEW gate at Grazebrook Road.) Work will start in September and involve a 20 metre wide working area which will be fenced off and eventually reinstated. The work itself will take 10 weeks or so but the reinstatement will take much longer. click here for more meeting news | # | |
